A New Way Forward

Thomas Roache  Independent for State Representative

Dear Neighbor,

Thank you for taking a moment to visit my site.  My name is Thomas Roache; I believe that it’s time for fresh ideas and new blood in Massachusetts politics.

My family has called Massachusetts home for generations. Each year, living here gets harder and harder for regular working people.  For months, I’ve walked up and down this district and talked with residents about my ideas to get Massachusetts moving forward.  At each door, I hear tough stories - the Millis resident who will have to cut down her trees to heat her home this winter, the Norfolk resident watching helpless as septic seepage  contaminates Populatic Pond, the Plainville resident working two jobs without healthcare, the Wrentham resident struggling to make payroll for his small business.  Or the stories of young people with good degrees who can’t find affordable places to live here in their home state.

My time going door-to-door has given me a deep and clear understanding of the personal struggles we’re all facing.  We’re a good people and I believe that we deserve better.  It’s clear that government needs new energy, new ideas and a stronger commitment to address the common concerns of regular working people.

I was raised by a family that believes in hard work and helping others. Effective public service is both my passion and profession. I’m proud to have been a part of innovative social and economic development projects around the US and the globe.  I’m proud to have gotten necessary services to people on a tight budget.  Now, I’m asking for the opportunity to put that experience and that commitment  to work for you.  I’m excited to bring my passion and fresh, creative thinking to the problems that our legislature has failed to tackle.  If (like me) you believe that Massachusetts must do more for its residents, please support my campaign to get us moving in the right direction.

It’s an honor to have the opportunity to serve you. Thank you for your consideration on Tuesday,

Thomas Roache
